Our student-athletes (grade 5–8) have the opportunity to participate in several sports throughout the year and are coached at a more competitive level. Teams compete against other similar schools and teams in the Metro Atlanta Athletic Conference (MAAC). Competitors include Atlanta International, Davis Academy, St. Martin, Galloway, Atlanta Classical, Epstein, Holy Spirit, Museum School and Ridgeview.
Expectations
The GLOBE Academy is a charter school, therefore we are responsible for funding our own athletic programs. Parents of our student-athletes are expected to provide transportation to practices/games, pay a team fee of $200-250 or more and provide a sports physical to the school. Each player is expected to attend practices and maintain a B average or higher in each of their classes. Leading by example and having positive influence at school and in the community is expected of our student-athletes.
