Golf – GLOBE Athletics

2024 was the first year for GLOBE Golf!

There will be one boys team and one girls team.

There will be some limited beginner equipment for players to use, but it is preferred that students have their own clubs and some basic knowledge of how the game is played.

It is likely that our home course will be Heritage Golf Links, located at 4445 Britt Road, Tucker, GHA 30084.

When competing, players will only play 9 holes at one of the following locations: Cross Creek Golf Course, or Steel Canyon Golf Course, and the dates are already set: Feb 27, March 13, 20, and April 3, 17 and 23.

2025 Golf Tryouts
Thank you for your interest in GLOBE’s Golf Team. This is only our 2nd year of having a Golf Team and we plan on having only 1 Boys Team and 1 Girls team.

Dates: Day 1 - Monday, February 3rd.
Time: 4:00pm to 5:30pm.
Location: Northcrest Driving Range (3545 Northcrest Rd,Atlanta, GA 30340).

Dates: Day 2 - Wednesday, February 5th.
Time: 3:45pm to 6:00pm.
Location: Heritage Golf Links (4445 Britt Road, Tucker GA 30084) OR backup is Chandler Park Golf (585 Candler Park Dr NE, Atlanta 30307).

2025 Golf Practice Dates
Dates: Tuesday & Thursday in February (Only Thursdays in March & April).
Time: 4pm to 6pm.
Location: Heritage Golf Links or Chandler Park Golf.

Dates for MAAC Conference MS Tournaments
Dates: Feb 27th, March 13, 20, and April 3, 17 & 23.
Time: Tee times start between 4pm and 4:40pm.
Locations: Cross Creek Golf Course or Steel Canyon Golf Course.

Spring 2025 Team Fee
The fee to participate in the 2024-2025 season is $150. This fee includes:
● Parents will need to pay for practice rounds fees & some range balls.
● Coaches & facility rental for driving range.
● Use of school provided uniform that shall be returned at the end of the season.
● Hoodie that each player will keep at the end of the season.
● Team Fees are due by April 1, 2025.

Transportation
Parents must provide transportation to practices and/or games.

Team Fee Payment Deadline
Team fees are due by April 1, 2025. Your child will not be allowed to participate in any other GLOBE sports with an outstanding Team Fee balance from any sport. Financial Assistance Application
If you are in need of financial assistance for the 2024-2025 season, here’s some pertinent information: This year, the process has changed a little from what you may have experienced in the past. The very minimum amount of assistance will range from 55-95% based upon proven need. If you would like to request this assistance please follow these instructions:
