Our Coaches

Melissa is the Athletic Director and PE Teacher for Upper Campus. She brings over 20 years experience to this position and loves teaching at The GLOBE Academy. Melissa was a 3 sport athlete and State Champion in high school; All-State basketball, All-Region Volleyball and Softball player.  

She played basketball and tennis in college and later became a high level basketball official. As an official, she was in 4 Division I conferences, officiated a Division II National Championship and multiple GA State Championships while teaching and coaching at the high school level. 

Melissa holds a BS in Business Administration, Masters in Physical Education and a Certificate in Leadership from Harvard University.  She lives in the GLOBE community and loves the diversity, culture and learning experience provided by the elite language immersion school.
